Preposition in Hindi संबंध सूचक अव्यय Preposition वह शब्द जो संज्ञा Noun या सर्वनाम Pronoun जो वाक्य के दूसरे भाग के बीच में संबंध को बताता है। जहां पर जिस संज्ञा Noun और सर्वनाम Pronoun के साथ सम्बन्ध सूचक अव्यय या पूर्वसर्ग Preposition का प्रयोग किया जाता है, उसे Object कहते हैं।

Preposition in Hindi Preposition is the word that is generally placed before a noun or a pronoun to express its relation with other part of the sentence. The noun or pronoun used with the preposition is called its ‘object’.

आइये कुछ उदाहरण से समझते हैं।

Types of Preposition in Hindi

1. Use of For in Hindi

सामान्यतः For का अर्थ से या के लिए होता है।

1. For का प्रयोग अनिश्चित समय यानि समय की अवधि के साथ होता है जब भी कभी वाक्य में रहा है या रहा था या रहा होगा, रही है या रही थी या रही होगी, रहे हैं या रहे थे या रहे होंगे का प्रयोग भी होता है।
For is used for duration of time when the Sentence is in continuous with future, past or present form.
2. काफी देर से [ For a long ], कुछ देर से [ For a while ]
3. For 5 seconds or 5 minutes or 5 hours or 5 days or 5 weeks or 5 months or 5 years or 5 centuries.
4. के लिए या के उद्देश्य से, के कारण [ For any cause or reason or purpose ] For many days or hours or months or weeks
5. वस्तुओं की कीमत बताने के लिए, की ओर दिशा [ The direction ] बताने के लिए, के पक्ष में बताने के लिए।

2. Use of At in Hindi

सामान्यतः At का अर्थ पर, में या से के लिए होता है।

1. निश्चित समय के साथ में या पर बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं। [ With point of time ]
2. छोटी स्थान या जगह के साथ के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं। [ With small places ]
3. किसी वस्तु की कीमत बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं। [ To tell the cost of something ]
4. रात और दोपहर के साथ भी इस्तेमाल करते हैं। [ With night or noon ]
5. किसी खास मौके के लिए या त्योहार के लिए भी इस्तेमाल करते हैं। [ with any events or fastival ]

सामान्यतः From का अर्थ से के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. किसी स्थान या जगह से आना या जाना बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। [ To tell some place ]
2. किसी समय से कुछ करना बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। [ To tell point of time ]
3. किसी चीज की स्रोत या उत्पत्ति बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। [ To tell the source or origin of something ]
4. किसी चीज का इस चीज से बना हुआ है बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। [ Made form ]
5. किसी चीज का अलग होना या बच निकलना के अर्थ बताने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है। [ Sense of separaton ]

4. Use of Since in Hindi

सामान्यतः Since का अर्थ से के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। मुख्य तौर पर Since का उपयोग निश्चित समय के लिए होता है और साथ में जब भी कभी वाक्य में रहा है, रहा था, रहा होगा का उपयोग होता है।

1. मैं कल रात 10 बजे से टीवी देख रहा हूँ।

5. Use of In in Hindi

सामान्यतः In का अर्थ में के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

6. Use of On in Hindi

सामान्यतः On का अर्थ पर या में के लिए ही उपयोग होता है।

1. जब कोई एक बड़ा वस्तु दूसरे वस्तु [ विराम अवस्था ] के ऊपर में रखा हुआ तो इस अर्थ के लिए ही उपयोग होता है।
2. इसका उपयोग दिन और दिनांक बताने के लिए होता है। [ With day and date ]

सामान्यतः After का अर्थ बाद में या के बाद के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

सामान्यतः Behind का अर्थ पीछे के लिए उपयोग होता है।

2. इसका उपयोग पीछे (क्रम में) [ In order ] के अर्थ के लिए होता है।
3. इसका उपयोग पीछे (छिपा हुआ) के अर्थ के लिए होता है।

9. Use of Before in Hindi

सामान्यतः Before का अर्थ पहले या सामने के लिए उपयोग होता है।

1. इसका उपयोग के सामने के अर्थ के लिए होता है।
2. इसका उपयोग के पहले या से पहले के अर्थ के लिए होता है।

1. वह पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर के सामने खड़ा था।

सामान्यतः Above का अर्थ ऊपर के लिए उपयोग होता है।

1. इसका उपयोग किसी सतह के स्तर से ऊपर के अर्थ के लिए होता है। [ Higher than या Level ]
2. इसका उपयोग किसी सूची में स्थान ऊपर होने के अर्थ के लिए होता है। [ Up in list ]

सामान्यतः Off का अर्थ से के लिए उपयोग होता है।

2. इसका उपयोग दूर रहो के अर्थ के लिए भी उपयोग होता है।

सामान्यतः With का अर्थ साथ में के लिए उपयोग होता है।

13. Use of Through in Hindi

सामान्यतः Through का अर्थ के माध्यम से या से के लिए उपयोग होता है।

1. इसका उपयोग किसी वस्तु के आर पार देखना के अर्थ के लिए होता है। [ To see through some object ]
2. किसी ऐसी वस्तु या स्थान से गुजरना जो ऊपर, नीचे और किनारों से बंद हो के अर्थ के लिए होता है। [ To move through a structure ]

सामान्यतः Beneath & Underneath का अर्थ नीचे के लिए ही उपयोग होता है।

2. इसका उपयोग समय या दो घटनाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए उपयोग होता है। [ Express time ]

20. Use of To in Hindi

सामान्यतः To का अर्थ से या के या तक के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. इसका इस्तेमाल की ओर या की तरफ के अर्थ को बताने के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है। [ Towards ]
2. इसका इस्तेमाल समय बताने से पहले या कम या बाकी के अर्थ में वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

सामान्यतः Towards या Toward का अर्थ की ओर के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

2. इसका इस्तेमाल के प्रति के अर्थ को बताने में होता है।

25. Use of Within in Hindi

1. मुझे 1 किलोमीटर दौड़ने में 5 मिनट से कम लगता है।

26. Use of Than in Hindi

सामान्यतः Than का अर्थ से या की अपेक्षा के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. इसका इस्तेमाल के बजाय या की अपेक्षा छुपे हुए के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
2. इसके साथ Than का इस्तेमाल एक दूसरे का तुलना Compare करने के लिए होता है।

1. मैं तुमसे बेहतर हूं।
1. I am better than you.

2. मै तुमसे लम्बा हूॅं।

27. Use of Ago in Hindi

सामान्यतः Ago का अर्थ पहले​ के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।
1. इसका इस्तेमाल पहले ( समय के साथ ) के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

उदाहरण

1. सोनम पांच साल पहले आई।
1. Sonam came five years ago.

2. मैंने दो साल पहले एम.बी.ए किया था।
2. I had done M.B.A. two years ago.

3. रीना दस साल पहले अच्छी थी।
3. Reena was good ten years ago.

4. मैं तीन साल पहले दिल्ली में रहता था।
4. I lived in Delhi three years ago.

5. राजू एक साल पहले अस्पताल में था।
5. Raju was in the hospital a year ago.

28. Use of Except in Hindi

सामान्यतः Except का अर्थ के सिवाय या को छोड़कर के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. इसका इस्तेमाल को छोड़कर के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
2. इसका इस्तेमाल के अलावा के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
उदाहरण

1. यह विद्यालय रविवार को छोड़कर हर दिन खुलता है।
1. This school opens every day except Sunday.

2. मैं तुम्हें छोड़कर किसी को भी हरा सकता हूं।
2. I can beat anyone except you.

3. सीमा को छोड़कर सभी लड़कियां स्कूल में है।

29. Use of During in Hindi

सामान्यतः During का अर्थ दौरान के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. इसका इस्तेमाल के दौरान ( समय ) के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. मैं छुट्टियों के दौरान न्यूयॉर्क शहर में था

30. Use of Till in Hindi

सामान्यतः Till का अर्थ तक के अर्थ के लिए वाक्य में इस्तेमाल होता है।

1. इसका इस्तेमाल तक ( समय की लिए ) के अर्थ को बताने के लिए होता है।
2. इसका इस्तेमाल दिन और समय के साथ के अर्थ को बताने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

उदाहरण

1. मैं 7 बजे तक खेलूँगा।
1. I will play till 7 o’clock..

2. सोनम मेरे साथ रविवार तक रहेगी।
2. Sonam will stay with me till sunday.
